A prime example of a creative, sustainable landscape solution
Take a look at this backyard that we transformed from a dry dirt patch to a beautiful, low-water European outdoor space water-wise lawn flip we did in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Being in a desert mountain ecosystem, water conservation is top of mind for us when we think about sustainability. The client allowed the back lawn to die and reduce to a dry dirt patch. That is where we entered the picture. They wanted a beautiful European-esque space that would accomodate outdoor dining and a portable fire pit when they entertained family and friends. We planted some climbers such as variegated virginia creeper to climb up the detach garage wall, and climbing roses to climb up the metal trellis bench. We planted creeping jenny groundcover around the edges of the pavers to add some lush vibrant green to the rock and stone as time passes. This was an incredibly satisfying and rewarding project.
